We are looking to recruit an IT specialist for September 2024 initially for one year in a ‘good’ average sized secondary school in Ipswich.  

Ideally you will hold QTS or QTLS and a degree in IT however, if you have extensive experience teaching IT in secondary schools in the UK, or you have trained in another country and are eligible to apply for QTS, please do get in touch.

As this is a long-term booking you will be expected to undertake planning, preparation and assessment and may be required to take on additional duties such as a form group and attend relevant meetings. In return, you will be entitled to a minimum of 10% PPA time.

Alternatively, if you are looking to gain some experience before you start, supply teaching will allow you to work in a variety of schools which will give you an insight as to the differences between small rural schools, large city schools, academies, and state schools. You can also complete your induction term by term.
